Who we are
Rampfinity is a web design and search visibility business based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. We build websites for small and growing businesses and help them get found in search engines and AI assistants.
This policy explains what we do with personal information when you visit rampfinity.com or get in touch with us. It applies to this website only.
What we collect
The short version: the only personal information we deliberately collect is what you type into our quote form. We don't require an account, we don't run advertising trackers, and we never sell your information to anyone.
Information you give us
If you fill in the quote form on our website, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name and what your business does
- Your current website address, if you enter one
- Whatever you write in the message field
If you book a call with us instead, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address and chosen time so the meeting can be set up.
If you email us or become a client, we keep the correspondence and the project information you send us, such as photos, text and logins you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when a page is served — IP address, browser type, and which page was requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
We do not run website analytics on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag and no session recording. If we add an analytics tool in future, we will name it in this policy before it goes live.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
- We don't take payment details through this website.
- We don't run advertising trackers or build advertising profiles.
- We don't send marketing emails to people who haven't asked for them.
- We don't ask for, or want, sensitive personal information — health, financial or otherwise. Please don't send it to us through the form.
Why we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- Deliver the work if you decide to go ahead
- Keep in touch about a project that's underway
- Keep our own records, including for tax and accounting purposes
Under Canadian privacy law our basis for this is your consent — you chose to contact us — and our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to enquiries.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us, then deleted.
Client records are kept for as long as we're working together and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Canadian tax rules expect business records to be retained.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.
Who we share it with
We don't share your information with anyone except the service providers we need to run the business. Each of these only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) — hosts this website and processes the quote form. Your submission is stored in our Netlify account until we delete it, and a copy is emailed to us. Netlify also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to serve and secure the site.
- Google Workspace — our business email, where your message arrives and is stored.
- Our scheduling provider is the only service that receives anything if you book a call. Nothing else on this site contacts a third party. Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so loading a page on rampfinity.com sends your details to no one but us.
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. That means your information may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose established providers with recognised data protection practices.
We may also disclose information if we're legally required to — for example, in response to a valid legal order.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. Not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything else. It also stores nothing in your browser's local storage. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.
If you follow a link to our booking page, that is a different website run by our scheduling provider, and it may set its own cookies once you are there. Their policy applies to that page, not ours.
If we ever add something to this site that does set a cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy before it goes live.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose
- Send you a copy of what you gave us
Email matei@rampfinity.com and we'll deal with it within 30 days. There's no charge.
If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you're in the UK or EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
How we protect it
Your information is held in business accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. Our website is served over an encrypted connection, and the quote form is transmitted securely.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If a breach happens that puts you at real risk of harm, we'll tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and affects existing clients, we'll tell them directly.
